What
is Myosymmetries ?
Myosymmetries means "muscle balance". "Myo" is muscle and "Symmetry" means balance. We are a multi-disciplinary treatment facility specializing in rehabilitating those who suffer from chronic dysfunctions. We treat people who have a history of chronic muscle and soft tissue pain. Utilizing the protocols developed by Stuart Donaldson, Ph.D., we use an integrated approach unlike any other offered. The patient is treated with a combination of surface electromyography (sEMG), EEG Neurotherapy, massage, physiotherapy, and psychotherapy to reduce the pain symptoms that have been a regular part of their lives.The Myosymmetries protocols can be utilized to objectively diagnose, treat and monitor many soft tissue disabilities and associated conditions, some of which are outlined in the table below:
